The Bee's Knees Leg Warmers

My latest idea is the bee's knees! Literally.  These are some very light weight leg warmers that I made with little bumble bees on the knees.  They were not hard to make and are pretty stretchy for a perfect fit.

Waffle Cakes

YUM! So lately I've gotten into a bad habit. Well a very bad habit that will result in my becoming morbidly obese if I don't break it. I'm hooked on spoonfuls of frosting! YUM! It's so delicious! So then I had a stroke of brilliance when I hypothesized that my buttermilk waffles would taste delicious with some Betty Crocker frosting on top. My suspicions were confirmed when I found my happy place at my kitchen table only hours ago...

30 Day Photo Challenge: Day 28-Nighttime

Well my roommate and I lost power in about half of our house just in time for this challenge. I was originally going to take a picture of the typical nighttime neon lights that I've seen. Then we lost power and I thought it would be cool to take a picture my candles on the wood floor.

Peter Pan Hat

Peter lost more than just his shadow at my house.  I don't know why, but I wanted to make a Peter Pan hat. You may ask, "Why would I want or need a Peter Pan hat?" The answer is very simple: 1. To Wear 2. To Pretend Peter Pan has come to your house. Duh. Growing up and even now, I love that little ginger in tights! Off to Neverland.

30 Day Photo Challenge: Day 27-Daily Routine

Just for the record: I HATE ROUTINE! I get so bored with boringness monotony in life. I would rather shake up my days and have different adventures everyday than go to work and do the same old every day. I saw this title and thought, "Ugh how freakin boring!" So my part of my daily routine at some point is almost always putting on my make up with my trusty sidekick Felipe nearby.

Valentine's Day Sweetheart Apron

I just finished making the first of two Valentine's Day aprons. I made the pattern for this one to look like a Coke bottle/Jessica Rabbit figure with a sweetheart neckline. I made both ties adjustable for any size. I added the lace ruffle on the bottom for extra pop.  This apron will be much different from the next one I make.

Personalized Gift Idea...

Make a simple small pouch yourself out of felt. Then cut a shape that you prefer...I chose a silhouette of Disney's Ariel's head.  On the front I embroidered the name of the recipient. Then make a CD of your own selection and it fits perfect inside the reusable pouch!

Craft Launch Anyone?

I read about this site in an email from etsy. I had never heard of it before myself, but the site lets you have a free trial period of 15 days. I am not sure it's gonna benefit my etsy shop but we'll see. I don't see how it would get anymore traffic for my etsy shop but it's worth a shot right? Then I can decided to pay or not pay the monthly fee.

30 Day Photo Challenge: Day 21-Where You Sleep

Not that exciting really is it? My flannel sheets are midly thrilling though aren't they? Just seeing them makes me wanna crawl into my warm bed for a long Zzzzzzzzzzzzz.... Oh and that yellow part is my duck. My grandma gave it to me a long time ago before she died. I'm a bit of a hypochondriac so when I was little and in school, they would teach us about the possibility of a house fire. In all the stories they would say people died after they went back in to get their pet or money or whatever it was. So I always sleep with my duck right by my side so I can grab him in an emergency that I hope will never come.

30 Day Photo Challenge: Day 20-Seasonal

Even though there's sunshine everyday it's still technically winter and a little cooler than summer. Weird winter this year though.

30 Day Photo Challenge: Day 18-Something New

My coworker recommended a book series to me since she knows I love the Harry Potter Series. The first book in the series is called, The Hunger Games.  I already read the first book and loved it so I went and bought the second, Catching Fire and am already hooked!

30 Day Photo Challenge: Day 17-Memories

Of course pictures are memories and I have some of my favorites haning in my room. This also reminds me that I have about a year's worth of photos I need to get printed.

Love is in the air with Valentine's Day just around the corner. Get your Cupid on and decorate your house with this very simple, very fast tutorial.

1. You will need:
Scissors
Glitter Paper
Ribbon
Mini clothespins

2. I used a pre-made stencil for the letters and hearts on my banner. If you are Edward Scissorhands you can skip this step and freehand it.
3. Attach the letters and hearts to a long ribbon using mini clothes pins.

30 Day Photo Challenge: Day 16-Animals

Yesterday at the tattoo shop Kristeen asked me if I ever finished the photo challenge I was doing. Obviously since I'm posting this, I havent yet but I'm getting back on track because Kristeen cares enough to notice my blog. :0)

This picture is of a lion stalking it's prey in the plains of Africa a.k.a. my backyard. Don't blame me for the dead grass, it's the landlord's doing...

Custom Order Marf

I had a recent buyer who needed a smaller marf than average.  Since I was making a new one entirely, we switched up the colors to meet her request.  I think it came out adorable. The mustache simply says: Don't hate me cuz you ain't me. It's got just a touch of the Geraldo to it. ;0)

Oh and what better way to transport my products to the post office than in my brand new Oprah bag? Oh yes! My sister gave me a subscription to O Magazine for Christmas and I also got this cutesie bag and a leather journal!
