Frisbee Golf Bag

Hello again my bloggy readers.  I have finished this bag for my boyfriend. He likes to play frisbee golf with his friends. I have gone twice and am horrible. It's still fun though. I might need to pump some iron so my disc makes it a little further. So my boyfriend asked me to make him a bag to hold his frisbees. He came with me to the fabric store and picked out a fabric that he wanted. I have a bunch of fleece in my sewing room, so I used that as the sturdy lining. It was really easy to cut without a pattern. I first cut a large piece on the fold for the outside, then side panels to expand when neccessary. I used fabric dividers on the inside to separate the drivers, mid-range and putter discs. I chose velcro for the flap, that can either close or hang the over the opposite side for easy access. So here are some pictures:

Well that's it for today...now back to "Lovetown, USA" on OWN!

30 Day Photo Challenge: Day 7-Something Funny

Hello again! Well for today's challenge I first considered borrowing my roommates "Ellen Wig." But then, I remembered what a smash hit my Oprah costume was for Halloween. I thought to myself, "what could be better than me dressed up as Oprah?" (I didn't want to cheat with a been done idea.) Then BAM! Divine intervention, and "Aha! Moment, and Zues' beard all struck me at exactly the same moment! The next best thing is Felipe dressed as Oprah! Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you: Oprah Dog!

I feel like he looks real sophisticated in this photo.

P.S. I've been working on a new and improved marf and hat for the finishing touches to my snow gear!

Happy Halloween!!!!!

It's that time of year again.  Despite your age, Halloween offers something for everyone. From trick-or-treating, to haunted houses to dressing up, there is almost too much fun happening at once.  Personally I am a huge fan of dressing up, regardless of the time of year.  This year, I'm thrilled with my costume.  I transformed myself into Oprah Winfrey and was accompanied by none other than my boyfriend as Stedman.

Speaking of Oprah, am I the only one loving her lifeclass?  I think not. It is just fabulous and filling the Oprah void we were all left with after the end of her show.  Now, as simple as it may seem, Oprah pointed out something very obvious that I had missed.  She said that your calling doesn't have to be something you make money at.  "Aha! moment," as Oprah would say. For some reason, while I love sewing and knitting, I felt like I had to being successfully selling my projects on etsy for it to matter. Luckily Miss Winfrey gave me the permission I had not given myself to create for the benefit of those around me and not just for myself. So while I will continue my etsy shop for the time being, I will not be so focused on sales.  Lately I've been working on a hat and 49er dog coat. Here are the results:
