30 Day Photo Challenge: Day 18-Something New

My coworker recommended a book series to me since she knows I love the Harry Potter Series. The first book in the series is called, The Hunger Games.  I already read the first book and loved it so I went and bought the second, Catching Fire and am already hooked!

30 Day Photo Challenge: Day 17-Memories

Of course pictures are memories and I have some of my favorites haning in my room. This also reminds me that I have about a year's worth of photos I need to get printed.

DIY Valentine's Day Banner Tutorial

Love is in the air with Valentine's Day just around the corner. Get your Cupid on and decorate your house with this very simple, very fast tutorial.

1. You will need:
Scissors
Glitter Paper
Ribbon
Mini clothespins

2. I used a pre-made stencil for the letters and hearts on my banner. If you are Edward Scissorhands you can skip this step and freehand it.
3. Attach the letters and hearts to a long ribbon using mini clothes pins.

4. Attach your banner to a wall of your choice.

30 Day Photo Challenge: Day 16-Animals

Yesterday at the tattoo shop Kristeen asked me if I ever finished the photo challenge I was doing. Obviously since I'm posting this, I havent yet but I'm getting back on track because Kristeen cares enough to notice my blog. :0)

This picture is of a lion stalking it's prey in the plains of Africa a.k.a. my backyard. Don't blame me for the dead grass, it's the landlord's doing...

Custom Order Marf

I had a recent buyer who needed a smaller marf than average.  Since I was making a new one entirely, we switched up the colors to meet her request.  I think it came out adorable. The mustache simply says: Don't hate me cuz you ain't me. It's got just a touch of the Geraldo to it. ;0)

Oh and what better way to transport my products to the post office than in my brand new Oprah bag? Oh yes! My sister gave me a subscription to O Magazine for Christmas and I also got this cutesie bag and a leather journal!
